As a "Destination" shop, we receive numerous
requests from visiting Angler's in regard to rental equipment. As
such, we have made a commitment to offer a broad range of top-quality
rental products at a fair price:
1. Requirements
- A valid drivers license will be required
for all rentals.
- The customer is responsible for all
damage to rental equipment resulting from misuse or abuse.
- The customer is responsible for all
lost rental equipment.
- You must notify us ASAP regarding
extending a rental (we will honor your request if we can.)
2. Deposits
- A deposit (See "rates"
matrix for amounts) will be required on all rentals.
- Deposits may be made via cash or
a major credit card.
- Deposits will be refunded upon the
return and inspection of all rental equipment.
3. Payment
- All rentals must be paid in full
in advance (estimated days x rate).
- Additional days will be charged at
the standard rate.
- Rentals will be charged based on
a 24-Hour Day (e.g., 2pm - 2pm).
- You may reserve in advance by calling
the shop.
4. "Try Before You Buy"
- We will refund half of your rental
charge (up to 10% of the purchase price) for subsequent purchases
of the same (or similar) products.
- Applies to most recent "contiguous"
rental only (no sccruals!)
- Can only apply one rental to
a specific purchase ("group" rentals can not be
applied to an individual purchase - regardless of who pays!)
- Purchase must be made within
24 hours of the return of rental equipment.
- Applies to "primary"
equipment only (e.g., canoe rental can not be applied to the
purchase of paddles, vests, etc.)
- Purchase of "similar"
products will be honored at the owners discretion (We are
reasonable people - e.g., A fly fishing outfit is a fly fishing
outfit regardless of make and model but a fly rod is not a
fly fishing outfit, etc.)
Note: There
is a certain level of risk associated with all activities taking
place in or around the water. As such, you do so at your own risk
and will be asked to sign a waiver protecting Kennebec River Outfitters
from any litigation resulting from property loss, personal injury
or death experienced while using Equipment provided by Kennebec
River Outfitters.
