Kennebec River Outfitters stocks a modest (but broad) selection of books and magazines related to fly fishing and the great state of Maine. Avid readers, we preview many books and stock only those we feel represent the "Best in Class". As such, we feel that although not lengthy, our list of books is well targeted!

Additionally, since books are not in everyone's budget, we have created a First-in-the-Area" "Flyfishing Library"! For the price of a typical "Video Rental" ($3.95) you can rent the book of your choice (except for a week vs. a day!) Book Rentals will require payment up front and a $25 deposit (Credit Cards Accepted).

As for magazines, up here in the North Country there is no "Borders" or "Barnes and Noble"! As such, as a convenience to our local anglers (and those passing through the area - great camp reading!) we stock all major national and regional "Fly Fishing" publications as well as the two major local "Outdoor" publications.

Please note that Kennebec River Outfitters will special order any book (or video) you would like (50% Deposit Required on all Special Orders).
