| 1/30/03 | Radio
Spot | I
was a phone-in guest on a nationally broadcast outdoors radio show last night
out of Chicago (they found me on the web) The show "Mike Jackson Outdoors"
was pretty funny and I was forced to defend my position on invasive smallies (see
my "Guiding/Trip Options" page which they had read in advance) to a
bunch of bass fisherman (I asked them how they would like it if I came up and
started dumping carp into their bass water - a real problem in the midwest!) Next
he asked me why "Mainers" don't like people from away? I told him I
was a "Flatlander" myself and referred him to my "From Away"
page which he read on the air. All in all, they were a good bunch of guys just
havin' some fun with us yankees.. His website is www.mikejacksonoutdoors.com |

| 1/10/03/03 | Price/Info
Update | The
price noted in a prior post about the new Redington "Red.Fly2" reel
was incorrect. The correct price is $49.95. In addition, the reel is "injection
molded" aluminum as opposed to machined - Sorry, but we reacted to inaccurate
pre-release info. |
